ABOUT THE AUTHOR(S)
Gwenaël Petiot was raised in Aix-en-Provence, France. In 2007, he traveled to South America, where he was introduced to macramé, the craft that would become his passion. Soon after his return to France, Gwenaël debuted his pieces on the catwalk as part of the spring 2012 haute couture collection for the French designer Anne Valérie Hash, creating a media sensation with his designs. To date, Gwenaël has produced many macramé designs under “Papacho Creations” and sells these at handmade markets, online, and at retail. He has also been commissioned to create jewelry accessories for the well-known Cirque du Soleil. He currently lives in Paris.
