Description - This beautiful tray is woven in natural and three Aegean inspired colors of dyed round reed. A number of techniques will be taught or reviewed, such as inserting additional spokes, twining to have stacking colors or swirling colors, 3 and 4-rod wale with a step-up, and 5-rod wale. Students must know 3-rod wale with a step-up. Slower weavers may need to finish after class.
Usual basket tools including 2 SPOKE WEIGHTS, NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS, scissors, angle cutters, spray bottle, towel, clips, packers, tape measure, awl, and any other tools you find useful.
