Description: This basket is a mixture of reed and dyed 4 mm Hamburg cane. The basket has a solid twill-woven cathead base, and a twill pattern on the sides. Students may choose to do some reverses in the twill for a zig-zag pattern on the sides. The rim features an unusual woven design and several options for it are included in the pattern. Advanced students should have no problem finishing the basket and starting the rim in class, but more time will be required to complete it on their own. The instructor will bring kits in several colors.
Usual basket tools including SPOKE WEIGHT, needle nose pliers, scissors, angle cutters, spray bottle, towel, clips, packers, tape measure, awl, and any other tools you find useful.
