1/8" three-ply twisted kraft paper rope (color of a brown paper bag), imported from Denmark.
Traditionally used on "Danish" and "Danish Modern" chairs.

Laced is a pretty raised twist.
Also makes a great rim filler for baskets and a core for coiled baskets (especially if the coiled basket is partially closed coiled and partially open coiled to reveal the pattern of the laced Danish cord).

TWO POUNDS (approximately 360 feet) are needed for an average 16" seat if using Danish nails.
3 pounds are needed when wrapping around rails.
(More economical to order a full reel when doing 5 or more chairs.)
